Giles lands on podium with 604 Late Model at Swainsboro Raceway
On Friday afternoon, Ty Giles unloaded his Impulse Industrial Services No. 10 604 Late Model at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway for the Southern Showcase.
Following the seventh-quickest lap out of 13 Late Models, Giles charged forward in his heat race and made up two positions to finish runner-up. With the $1,500-to-win main event slated for Saturday, Ty ran as high as second but settled for a third-place outing in the 25-lap feature.
