Early flat derails National 100 weekend at East Alabama Motor Speedway
Competing in the National 100 weekend, Ty Giles visited East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) to compete for the $5,000 prize in the 604 Late Model division
In Saturday's qualifying session, Ty stopped the clock fastest in his group which earned him the pole position for the A-Main.
On Sunday afternoon, Giles made contact on the first lap of the 40-lap and was forced to pull in with a flat tire. Giles returned to the racetrack and recorded a 15th-place finish.
