Giles shows speed in Magnolia 75 weekend with Crate Racin' USA
Making the haul to Mississippi, Ty Giles unloaded his B&S Concrete Services Inc. No. 10 machine at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Friday afternoon for the Crate Racin' USA-sanctioned Magnolia 75.
Among 49 Late Models signed in, Giles laid down the fastest lap in his qualifying group before dominating his heat race for the victory.
Sitting on the front row of Saturday's $10,000-to-win finale, Ty faded throughout the extended 75-lap main event and eventually recorded a DNF after hitting the infield yuke tire.
