Ty Giles returns to action with eighth-place outing in King of Crate at North Alabama Speedway
Taking off most of June and July to regroup, Ty Giles returned to the driver's seat of his Impulse Divisions No. 10G machine at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Ala.) on Friday afternoon to compete with Crate Racin' USA.
Stopping the clock fourth-quickest in his qualifying group, Giles started from the second-row in his heat race and finished fourth.
With main events slated for Saturday, Ty started 13th in the $10,000-to-win main event where he would make up five spots over 75-laps to score a Top-10 finish in eighth.
